Statement
As a Professor at different Art and Design schools in Slovenia and throughout Europe I have a lot of theoretical and practical experience and have held special positions of responsibility in providing leadership and in fostering excellence in research, teaching and professional activities within the College, the wider University and within the community.
I hold the status of freelance artist which has been supported by the Slovenian Government since 2000, which is given only to selected artists from Slovenia. I work as a freelancer in different schools, cooperating with different publishing houses and corporations. I work as a professor, illustrator, artist, designer, storyteller, write articles for magazines about art and artists and much more, as our country is small and one has to do many different things. I am really interested in different media and visual languages – those purely artistic and also those which are more commercial. Through working and learning I attained the big picture - a deep understanding - of the creative processes in visual art.
